Trezor® Login | Getting started — Trezor™
Trezor itself does not use a traditional “login” with username and password like most websites. Instead, access to your crypto assets is controlled entirely through your Trezor hardware wallet and recovery seed. Here’s how it works:
1. Connecting Your Trezor
- You need your Trezor device (Trezor One or Trezor Model T).
- Go to Trezor Suite on your computer or download the desktop/mobile app.
- Plug your Trezor into your computer via USB (or use a supported mobile connection).
2. Unlocking Your Wallet
- Your Trezor device will prompt you to enter your PIN directly on the device. This is like your password.
- The Trezor Suite interface will detect the device and allow you to access your wallets.
- You do not enter your PIN on your computer; it’s always on the device itself for security.
3. Using Passphrase (Optional but Recommended)
- For extra security, you can set a passphrase. Think of it as an extension of your seed.
- This creates a hidden wallet, so even if someone has your device, they cannot access these funds without the passphrase.
4. Managing Your Assets
- Once unlocked, you can:
- Send or receive crypto
- Check balances
- Track your portfolio
- Integrate with exchanges or DeFi platforms
5. Recovery
- If your device is lost, stolen, or broken, you can recover your wallet on a new Trezor device (or supported wallet software) using your 12/24-word recovery seed.
✅ Key Points:
- Trezor does not have a central account or password login.
- Security depends on your device PIN and recovery seed.
- Always keep your recovery seed safe and offline—never share it online.
