Trezor® Login | Getting started — Trezor™
If you’re looking to log in to Trezor, it’s important to know that Trezor itself doesn’t have a traditional “account login” like a website. Instead, your access is based on your hardware wallet and recovery seed. Here’s a clear step-by-step guide:
How to Log in to Trezor Suite
- Install Trezor Suite
- Download and install the official Trezor Suite app from the official Trezor website.
- It’s available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and also via the web interface.
- Connect Your Trezor Device
- Plug your Trezor hardware wallet into your computer via USB.
- For Trezor Model T, you may be asked to enter a PIN on the device itself.
- Enter Your PIN
- Your PIN is set during wallet initialization.
- Enter it directly on your Trezor device. This ensures security because the PIN never leaves the device.
- Access Your Wallet
- Once the PIN is entered correctly, Trezor Suite will show your wallet interface, including balances, transaction history, and portfolio overview.
- Using a Recovery Seed (if needed)
- If you’ve lost or reset your device, you can recover your wallet using your 12-24 word recovery seed.
- This step will restore access to your funds and portfolio.
Important Notes
- No Password Needed: Your Trezor wallet doesn’t use a username/password login; access depends on your device and PIN/recovery seed.
- Keep Recovery Seed Safe: Never share it online or store digitally. Losing it could mean losing access to your crypto permanently.
- Trezor Suite vs Web Wallet: You can also access Trezor via supported web interfaces, but security is higher when using the desktop suite.
